SCRI and UK-SOL are delighted to announce that they will host SOL2010 from 5-9 September in Dundee, Scotland this year. The city of Dundee is set in a picturesque location on the north shore of the River Tay, the largest and most famous river in Scotland. Dundee has a population of 140,000, and is the fourth largest city in Scotland.

SOL2010 is being jointly hosted and organised by SCRI and UK-SOL, and the conference venue is the Apex Hotel, located in the heart of Dundee’s regenerated waterfront district. The Apex is a short walk from the centre of Dundee, where there are shops, bars, restaurants and other amenities. Guests staying at the Apex (only 152 rooms so book fast!) will also have free access to the gym and spa facilities available at the hotel. There are other hotels for varying budgets within walking distance of the Apex. Register for the conference now.

The conference dinner will be held on Wednesday 8 September at Guthrie Castle – a uniquely Scottish venue, where you will enjoy a warm Scottish welcome and hospitality.

Costs

• Early Bird registration, only available till 31 May £450 - book early!
• Student package early bird £325 – available until 31 May.
• Standard package £550 – available until 15 August.
• Student standard package £425 – available until 15 August.
• Accompanying delegate £50 (N.B. this package does not include lunches and refreshments at hotel on conference days).

N.B. Unless otherwise stated, all packages include: welcome wine and cheese reception, all lunches, morning and afternoon refreshments on conference days, dinner on Monday at the hotel, tour excursion on Wednesday. The conference dinner, at Guthrie Castle is an optional extra at a cost of £50.
