A two-year postdoctoral position (with the possibility of extension) studying tomato-spider mite interaction is available in the group of Drs. Miodrag and Vojislava Grbic at the University of Western Ontario, London, Canada. The position is available immediately.

Our group uses genomic tools developed for tomato and spider mites to study the tomato-spider mite interaction. In particular, we seek to understand the molecular mechanisms that underlie responses of both interacting organisms. Our group is part of the larger GAP-M international consortium

Successful applicants should be highly motivated and be capable of working independently. Experience in tomato biology and genetics and/or bioinformatics is desirable. To qualify for the position you should have a PhD degree or equivalent obtained, preferably, no longer than three years ago.
