SOL 2010, September 5-9
SCRI and UK-SOL are delighted to announce that they will host SOL2010 from September 5-9 in Dundee, Scotland. The city of Dundee is set in a picturesque location on the north shore of the River Tay, Scotland’s largest and most famous river. Dundee is the fourth largest city in Scotland. (see attachment)
3rd International Symposium on Tomato Diseases
The International Society for Horticultural Science and the Italian Organizing Committee are pleased to announce that the 3rd International Symposium on Tomato Diseases will be held from July 25th to 30th 2010 in Ischia island, Naples-Italy.

Tomato Core Collection Workshop July 26-31, 2009
The coming season is all about seeing what we “fished” out of the core collection screens and establishing diversity panels for traits that are important for tomato agriculture. The involvement of other EU-SOL labs in phenotyping the panels forms a strong basis for further discovery and innovation.
SOL 2009, New Delhi, India - NOVEMBER 08-13
Dear Colleagues, You are cordially invited to the Sixth Solanaceae Genome Workshop to be held at Hotel Le Meridien in New Delhi, India, from November 08 - 13, 2009. As in past years, SOL 2009 would bring together spectrum of scientists working on different aspects of Solanaceae ranging from biodiversity, genetics, plant-pathogen interaction, genomics and bioinformatics. SOL 2009 would be a forum to discuss and present new information generated by the study of Solanaceae species, including progress in the sequencing of various Solanaceae genomes. The conference would also provide a forum to sit together and create a roadmap for future. The conference website www.sol2009.org will provide you with up - to - date information i.e. registration, abstract submission, hotel accommodation, pre post tours etc. November is the best season to visit New Delhi as well as rest of the country. This time of the year brings greenery on the face of New Delhi .You can expect plenty of sunny weather, fairly low levels of rainfall and pleasant temperatures.
